Introduction
Star Secure Pro is a whole life insurance plan which offers protection against Death, TPD and terminal illness and Accidental death benefit (before age 70). There are optional riders too add on to cover against early critical illness, and future unknown diseases.
How it Benefits you?

Benefit

  • Multiplier protection of 100%, 200%, 300%, 400% or 500% of sum assured till age 75 or 80
  • Premium terms from 5 - 30 years (in intervals of five) or up to age 64.
  • Additional payout of 30% sum assured for accidental death

  • Retrenchment Benefit: Premium deferred up to 6 months

  • Future premiums waived and receive lump sum of 24 months of premiums upon the death, diagnosis of terminal illness or total and permanent disability of a *family member.
  • Optional riders to add for protection against early and intermediate stage dread diseases and future unknown diseases.
  • Major impact benefit: 20% of rider sum assured payable if the insured undegoes surgery or suffers an infection, and requires stay in ICU of 5 or more days
  • Advanced Restoration Benefit - Major Cancers / Heart Attack of Specified Severity / Stroke with Permanent Neurological Deficit.
  • Special and Mental benefit: 30% of sum assured
What we like about the plan?

1. Early Secure Accelerator rider covers up to 142 medical conditions for early and intermediate stage dread diseases.

 

2. Advanced Secure Accelerator rider covers up to 56 specified dread diseases.

 

3. With the Major Impact Benefit: Receive 20% of rider sum assured if you undergo a surgery or suffer from an infection and you need to stay in an intensive care unit (ICU) for 5 days or more at a go.

 

4. Retrenchment Benefit: Premium deferred up to 6 months

Case Studies

Mr Lim, a non-smoker, married, buys a Star Secure Pro policy with a sum assured of $100,000. His premium term is up to age 64. He chooses the coverage with minimum protection value of 300%.

 

He also supplements his plan with the Advanced Secure Accelerator rider with a sum assured of $100,000 and Early Secure Accelerator rider with a sum assured of $50,000.

 

Furthermore, to enhance his hospital coverage, he adds on Hospital CashAid rider with a sum assured of $100. He pays an annual premium of $3,323.
