Introduction
Manulife ReadyMummy is a 3-year maternity plan that provides protection for the expecting mother from as early as 13 weeks into the pregnancy and the child from birth, to policy year 3. This plan is also the first of its kind to cover psychotherapy treatment to provide mental wellness support for the mother.

Coverage and Benefits
for (Mum)

  • Death benefit: 100% of sum assured
  • *Pregnancy Complications Benefits: Receive 100% of the sum assured if diagnosed with any of the insured pregnancy complications
  • *Hospital Care Benefit: 1% sum assured payout for the mother per hospital stay (up to 30 days) 
  • 10% sum assured for Psychotherapy treatment: Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) or Generalized Anxiety Disorders (GAD)

 

Coverage and Benefits
 for (Baby)

  • Death benefit: 100% of sum assured

  • *Congenital Illness Benefit: Receive 100% of the sum assured if the baby is diagnosed with any insured congenital illnesses
  • * Hospital Care Benefit: Receive 1% of the sum assured per day if the baby is hospitalized for any of the insured events, up to 30 days.
  • Outpatient Phototherapy Treatment Benefit: 1% sum assured for  each day rental of phototherapy machine (up to 10 days)

1. Guaranteed Issuance Benefit for Insured Child: Option to purchasee any eligible plan(s) made available Manulife for the insured child without medical underwriting within 90 days from the birth of the insured child

 

2. Pregnancy by In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF), Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) and Intracervical Insemination (ICI) can be covered with additional premium.

 

3. Cover for up to 2 children born from a single pregnancy of the life insured (mother).
