Introduction
Singlife Maternity Care is a single premium plan, three year term plan that covers the expectant mother and her child over 3 years for death. The plan will cover the insured mother for death, pregnancy complications and hospital care benefits and the insured child for death, congenital illnesses, hospital care, outpatient phototherapy, stem cell treatment and developmental delay benefits.
How it Benefits you?

Coverage for the mother

  • Death benefit: 100% of sum assured
  • Pregnancy complications benefit (10): 100% of sum assured

  • Hospital Care benefit (18): 1% of sum assured for each day of hospitalisation, up to 30 days for the entire contract term

 

Coverage for the child

  • Death benefit: 100% of sum assured
  • Congenital illness (23) : 100% of sum assured
  • Hospital care benefit (5): 1% of sum assured for each day of hospitalisation, up to 30 days for the entire contract term

 

Insured events for the Child

  • Outpatient phototherapy benefit due to severe neonatal jaundice: 1% of sum assured for each day of rental of the phototherapy machine, up to 10 days for the entire contract term
  • Stem cell treatment benefit: 50% of sum assured
  • Developmental delay benefit 10% of sum assured
  • Guaranteed Issuance Benefit for Newborn: Option to purchase whole life plan within 90 days from birth of the insured child without medical underwriting (where the death and TPD benefit payable is not more than $150,000)

• Phototherapy or Blood Transfusion for Severe Neonatal Jaundice

• Premature Birth requiring NICU/HDU
